I have digitized my publications using a CZUR ET24 Pro scanner, a device primarily designed for archiving text and illustrated documents. Since this scanner concentrates on text, it prioritizes contrast, which can affect the tonal quality of photos, especially black-and-white images, rendering too contrasty, lacking in tonal details.
To address this and ensure better quality representations, I have separately scanned the magazine’s photographs using a dedicated flatbed scanner designed specifically for image capture. This process allows for a more accurate reproduction of the photos, preserving better tonal range and detail, given the media being scanned, of course.
Here, I’ve provided the full set of photos from the magazine, offering a better quality image complement to the PDF version of the publication. These images are intended to enhance your experience of the magazine, providing richer visuals to accompany the digital archive.
